In creating the concept of Mandi's, we retained the meaning that Mandi has in the traditional Yemeni cuisine, taking into account the importance of the collective and sharing moments, typical of the Arabian peninsula’s culture, which puts the guests at the center, and we have combined these elements with the intrinsic needs of modern diners.
Mandi's is the authentic experience of Yemeni flavors, generous Arabian hospitality, and unparalleled service in a refined environment, topped with an all-new brand experience in which tradition and modernity merge together to offer consumers a delicious and healthy meal and an excellent value for money experience.

Note: Mand’ (Arabic: مندي‎) originates from the Arabic word ‘nada’, which means ‘dew’. In the parlance of Yemeni cuisine, Mandi rightfully derives its name from the unique ‘dewy’ and succulent texture that the meat obtains after being cooked on dry wood, inside a tandoor (clay oven), and infused with indigenous spices. Mandi is 3000 years old traditional delicacy popular in the eastern Yemeni city of Hadhramaut, consisting mainly of meat and rice with a special blend of spices. It is cooked in a pit underground. It's extremely popular and prevalent in most areas of the Arabian Peninsula, and even considered a staple dish in many regions. Mandi is usually made from rice, meat (lamb, camel, goat, or chicken), and a mixture of spices called Hawaij. The meat used is usually a young and small sized lamb to enhance the taste further. The main technique which differentiates Mandi from other meat dishes is that the meat is cooked in the tandoor (taboon in Arabic), which is a special kind of oven that is usually a pit dug up in the ground and covered with clay all around its sides. Mandi is considered the staple dish served during special events, such as Eid, weddings, and feasts in Yemen and the south of  Saudi Arabia. (Wikipedia)
